Set Up Your Computer

Select the type of computer you received in your work from home kit and follow the steps to set up.

Desktop

To set up your desktop, follow these steps:

  1. Unpack all parts.
  2. Connect the power cable to the computer tower.
  3. Connect the power cable to the monitor.
  4. Connect the VGA cable to VGA ports on your tower and monitor.
  5. Connect the mouse, keyboard, Yubi Key and headset (if applicable) to the workstation.
  6. Connect the LAN cable to your tower and router.
  7. Follow the VPN Setup steps.

Laptop

To set up your laptop, follow these steps:

  1. Unpack all parts.
  2. Connect the power cable to the computer.
  3. Connect the USB mouse, Yubi Key (if applicable) and headset.
  4. Follow the VPN Setup steps.

Chromebox

To set up your Chromebox, follow these steps:

  1. Unpack all parts.
  2. Connect the power cable to the Chromebox and a power outlet.
  3. Connect the power cable to the monitor and a power outlet.
  4. Connect the video cable to the Chromebox and your monitor.
  5. Connect the mouse, keyboard, Yubi Key and headset (if applicable) to the Chromebox.
  6. Connect the LAN cable to your Chromebox and router.
  7. Follow the VPN Setup steps.
